There is a very beautiful enbankment of the Volga River in Yaroslavl. The city began to build it in 1820. At that time every single ship that wanted to stop at Yaroslavl had to bring a big stone to help building the enbankment. Right now the enbankment street is more than 2 miles long. Yaroslavl has lots of ancent churches, museums and houses. There is a hotel that is located in the water of the Volga river. There is a little boat for tourists who would like to take a water tour. There is an ancient tower located nearby. There is a place where two rivers meet in Yaroslavl. That place is called "Strelka" and it's where the first people of Yaroslavl lived. The biggest church was built here but it was destroyed in 1930 and now the city is rebuilding it again for millenium of Yaroslavl.
